

Fort Bend Rainbow Room
The Fort Bend Rainbow Room provides emergency and transitional supplies to children and families involved with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
When children enter foster care or families experience a crisis, they may need clothing, diapers, bedding, toiletries, school supplies and other necessities immediately. The Rainbow Room keeps these essential items available so caseworkers can provide them without waiting for traditional funding or reimbursement.
Because the organization believes children and adults affected by abuse or neglect deserve items that help restore comfort and dignity, all donated products must be new.
Residents can support the Fort Bend Rainbow Room by:
Even one package of diapers, one set of bedding or one gift card can help a Fort Bend child or family during a difficult transition.
All physical donations should be new and unused. Please call the Fort Bend Rainbow Room before delivering donations to confirm its current needs and arrange a drop-off time.
Requested Items: New twin-size sheets and comforters, diapers sizes 3–6, pull-ups, new diaper bags, baby hygiene products, baby wipes, new pack-and-plays, new boys' and girls' athletic shoes, and $25 Walmart gift cards.
Volunteer Needs: Fundraising committees, Back-to-School Project, Christmas Project, grant research, caseworker luncheons, inventory management, community speaking, donation solicitation, and organizing supply drives.
