Frontier Days returns to the George Ranch Historical Park on Saturday 14 November 2026.
The ranch is a living-history site in Richmond, which means the Texas history children get taught in a Lamar CISD classroom is happening in front of them, outdoors, instead.
Plan around the Saturday. Tuesday to Friday the ranch is reserved for pre-booked field trips, so general admission for families is Saturdays, 9am to 5pm. Turning up midweek will not work.
Tickets are sold through the ranch's own site and the seasonal events do sell out, so book ahead rather than driving over on spec. Admission prices are not published on the ranch's front page — ring ahead if the cost matters to your plans.
